Hey guys! I have a three-day weekend right now and it's a Friday night, just the start of the fun. I decided I was going to share with you guys some awesome things to do if you have no plans for a long weekend.
Don't worry boys, I'll make a list for you too soon :)
1. Bake something-cookies, cake, cupcakes, and more:) here's a good link to a recipe that you can NOT resist! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzqU-isi79c
2. Clean out your closet. I am POSITIVE your closet is a mess like mine! Color coordinate it, sort it into categories, whatever-clean it out, new wardrobe and all READY FOR THE SUMMER!
3. Do something to your hair. ANYTHING. I know girls love changing their hair, and you can get it ready for summer break! Dye it, cut it, get bangs, get layers, get highlights, whatever. Here's are some easy steps on dying your hair-with COFFEE! It's easy to do at home, it saves money and is actually pretty good for your hair :) http://www.ehow.com/how_2343597_dye-hair-coffee.html
4. Catch up on some favorite episodes on your favorite TV show like Pretty Little Liars or Make it or Break it, rewatch any shows or movies you loved or download some movies on Netflix. I know everyone loves laying down in bed and watching some good chick-flick, romantic comedy, horror and other movies.
5. Pamper yourself! Paint your nails, take baths with Lush bath bombs, read magazines, exfoliate your skin, use a face mask, eat chips and salsa, go on tumblr and twitter, watch Youtube videos-all in your robe and slippers! Have a beauty relaxation day to yourself!
6. Go online shopping or shop somewhere yourself! It's always fun to put things in your shopping cart online to buy later. Go visit sephora.com, ulta.com, forever21.com, eyeslipsface.com and more! Or go to a mall nearby with a couple of girl friends or your mom and spend time and money!
7. Spend time with some friends. Whether it's at a restaurant, a sleepover, a movie or a shopping spree, get together with some of your friends and spend quality time with them. Stop by a nearby Walgreens or drugstore, pick up some Twizzlers, popcorn and gummy bears and settle at home for a good movie. Or gossip all night long...
8. Spend quality time with FAMILY! Nothing better than spending time with family:) Do something that was a childhood favorite...playing board games, eating at a favorite family restaurant, go to an amusement park, etc!
9. Exercise and be active! Wake up early to see the sun rise and jog along the riverside, or bike a mile. Sometimes doing something active in the morning can make you feel happy and wake you up! Or simply do jumpropes outside :)
10. Remodel your room and change it to something you like! Go on a hunt for new furniture to match the layout:)
Have a FAN-TASTIC WEEKEND! <3

Turns out the "coffee shop" we were going to was actually Paris Baguette. If you don't know what that is, it's a cafe/coffee shop. They sell bread, coffee, ice cream, drinks, cake, sandwiches, salads and so much more! We walked all the way over to the cafe and returned to school PANTING. My BFF MEGAN (HI GUYS. IM COOL) bought me ice cream and we had a great time.

We went to Yeoido as a class to look at the beautiful flowers; just in time for summer! It was a super hot day and many people were out gazing at the flowers too, but we had a great time taking pictures (jumping pictures too:) and PLANKING! We saw thousands of ants and bees and bugs, excited that it was finally hot outside. There were more than enough varieties of flowers for this summer. I feel like the weather totally skipped spring and went on to summer! Anyways, we all had a great time looking at the flowers(:

CHICAGO PIZZA!!
Hey guys! Our encore class went to Chicago Pizza a few days ago and had a blast. Megan and I (Check out her blog http://www.meganlovescupcakes.blogspot.com/) ordered a small cheese pizza while other classmates had some more unique ones such as sweet potato pizza. Korean pizza has many strange but cool toppings(: After our little meal, we decided to play ANOTHER game of rock paper scissors and whoever lost had to eat a small piece of pizza with a HUGE amount of tobasco sauce. Unfortunatley, I lost-_- My tongue was on fire for the rest of the day even with four cups of water. It was a good experience(:

Going to a local waffle shop...
Our encore class went on a little "field trip" to a nearby waffle shop. We arrived at the smell of warm, freshly-baked waffles and went upstairs to wait for our food to be done. The waffles were split so that four of us could eat a piece with ice cream and syrup and some fruits. After our little snack, we decided to play a game. Nothing special, just a game of rock paper scissors. The loser gets to win a delicious slurp of all the syrup, but I got lucky and just had to eat a lemon. While walking back to the school, my friend Megan and I raced with our full stomachs. You should go check out Megan's blog: meganlovescupcakes.blogspot.com(:
Although most of the waffle went on my jacket sleeves and I had a lemon-tasting-sour mouth all day, it was fun to go on this trip.

Trends in Korea!
These are some trends that are going around here in Korea. I decided that you should probably learn more about Korea before you travel around with me. A famous group here in Korea is Big Bang. Some social networking sites that are used often is Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. Beats, a high quality headphone brand is worn alot here as well as FAKE Uggs. Costco, is a whole 'nother story. My experience wasn't very good at Costco. I went a few weeks ago and found that I couldn't walk more than 5 feet without someone pushing me or walking in front of me. The line to checkout was so long we took a while to find the end of it, and when we finally got to the front we saw a lady and a couple fighting. Apparently the lady was in the line first (which obviously she wasn't). It was a mess, and I know I don't want to go when it's crowded AGAIN. Anyways, since spring is ALMOST here (It snowed yesterday and it's April, so technically spring isn't here yet) aviator sunglasses are the trend. Celebrities, sports players and other people are wearing them everywhere. Adele is a singer that is played a lot as well. Whenever I'm in the car my parents ALWAYS turn on Adele's songs first, and then they sing along to it. Way to be embarrassing dad.
After you read this paragraph, you'll be full on ready to travel around with me(:

Before we get started...
Hey guys! It's Julie here. This is my blog about my time around Korea J Before we get started...you should know just a few things about me. I love to eat anything except mushrooms and asparagus and I love to sing, dance and ice skate. I am addicted to shopping; physically and online, and a benefit from living in Korea is that a lot of items that are knock offs in America are really cheap. :)
I love watching Youtube videos and am a Youtuber as well. I have a phobia of automatic sliding doors and cats because of past experiences I’ve had and can’t stand off-key singers. I finish my homework on time and get decent grades. I’m a perfectionist and everything I do must be equal and perfect. Quick example: If I get a scratch on my left arm, I make a little scratch myself on my right arm.
I'm living in a family of four, with a younger brother and a mom and a dad. I used to live in Austin, Texas and Chicago, Illinois for my whole life until moving here to Korea. I'm just as amazed and awestruck about how different it is from America. I'm thinking of studying at University of Chicago and becoming a lawyer or psychologist.
xoxoJulie
